Iñaki Goikoetxea will not be the coach of Real Unión next season

The president of the Real Unión, Igor Emery, and the sports director, Mikel Bengoa, have appeared this Wednesday at a press conference to take stock of the season and review some current issues.

The first point dealt with was related to the coach for next season, who will not be Iñaki Goikoetxea. «We have him within the organization chart but we intend to incorporate another technician. Our appreciation for everything Goiko has given us has been impressive and we hope he can be with us for a long time,” Emery said.

The txuribeltz president has also revealed that Mikel Bengoa has renewed a season in sports management. “We didn’t have much room for maneuver in the first team and he has adapted very well to what the club needed.”
