Hosted the 12th Chungnam Provincial University President’s Cup Tennis and Badminton Tournament

[세계타임즈=충남 이현진 기자] Chungnam Provincial University (President Kim Yong-chan) is holding tennis and badminton competitions to promote health and harmony among middle and high school teachers in the Chungcheong region.

Chungnam Provincial University announced that it will hold the 12th President’s Cup tennis and badminton tournament on the 3rd of next month at the university and Cheongyang Public Tennis Court.

This competition was promoted to create a venue for exchange, communication, and harmony between universities and middle and high schools through tennis and badminton, which have become established sports for everyday life.

Tennis is divided into part 1 and part 2, and a total of 50 teams (100 people) are accepted in a first-come-first-served basis. In Part 1, the winners of three national competitions (Bio, KATO, and KATA) compete separately, and in Part 2, male teachers with less than 3 years of experience and female teachers with less than 3 years of experience can participate.

After the qualifying league, the finals will be held as a tournament, and the score is won by gaining first place in 1 set and 6 games.

Badminton, which is held in men’s and women’s doubles, is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis according to the number of badminton classes (A‧B‧C‧D) in Chungcheongnam-do.

In the case of badminton, the door has been widened to allow participation between teachers and students, and the finals will be held as a tournament after the preliminary league.

Trophies and prizes are given to tennis and badminton champions, runner-up and third place, and small participation prizes are also provided to all participants.
