The Bundesliga season 2022/2023 is over. On the last day of a messed-up season, Gladbach was able to at least restore the honor of the Rhineland, overtake arch-rivals 1. FC Köln and still finish tenth.
Nevertheless, Borussia Mönchengladbach is facing turbulent days and weeks, because the club is said to want to part with coach Daniel Farke (46) and also has to make the biggest squad change in over a decade.

GladbachLIVE learns that on Saturday (May 27, 2023), in the 2-0 home triumph against FC Augsburg, none other than football professor Lucien Favre (65) was a guest at Borussia Park.
Not only that: the Swiss Super-Hirnli was a guest in the presidium box of Borussia’s big boss, President Rolf Königs (81).

It is logical that our editors have received several inquiries as to whether the coach, who has held heroic status in Gladbach since the relegation miracle in 2011, could hire again in the foal stable.
According to GladbachLIVE research, however, this should not be the case at the moment!
When asked, we learned late Saturday evening that Lucien Favre had accepted an invitation from the club to meet again with the closest circle of decision-makers.
Favre should – as of now – not be a candidate for office at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
