The Adler Mannheim are looking for a new coach. As the eight-time champion announced, Swede Johan Lundskog will succeed Bill Stewart.
Stewart left the Eagles after a disappointing exit in the play-off semifinals.
Lundskog: “I want to be successful and play for the title”
“You always have the chance to play successfully with Mannheim. That’s my nature. I want to be successful and give the Eagles the chance to play for the title every year,” said Lundskog, who also has a Canadian passport. The 38-year-old was most recently the head coach of SC Bern in Switzerland.
In the DEL he now meets his former successor in Bern, the former national coach Toni Söderholm. The Finn took over the coaching position at champions Red Bull Munich in early May.
