LeBron James leads his team with 30 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists while Anthony Davis added 17 points with 20 rebounds. Great performance by Austin Reaves with 23 points and a buzzer beater at the end of the first half.
According to ESPN, James, Davis and the Lakers are the first team since 2014 to knock Curry’s Warriors out of the playoffs before the NBA Finals. Golden State has made six of the last eight NBA Finals, missing the playoffs entirely in the other two seasons.

Stephen Curry’s 32 points are not enough for Golden State, who missed 10 of the 14 attempted triples. The percentages of Steph and his companions are bad, who close with 13/48 from distance and chase for the whole game without ever putting their head forward.
