Gabriel Deck: “I am proud to represent Santiago worldwide”

“Being champion again with Real Madrid in a competition as difficult as the Euroleague makes me very happy and I am enjoying this moment despite recovering from my injury. I was able to be with my teammates in Lithuania and be able to lift the cup with them in a season in which I was in every game. Being able to win a title like this is something unique, since few Argentine players did it and achieving it makes me proud and gives me strength to continue with the goal of achieving similar titles”.

“A piece of advice for boys who are starting out in basketball or in another sport would be to tell them about my experience, to be as professional as possible at all times, let them help each other, listen to all the advice and never forget where one came from, that’s what is the essence that comes to my head every time I get something. That they continue forward, that it is always possible, even without having the necessary tools and always with humility. If you’re not a good person, tomorrow people will turn their heads on you. That they focus on what they want and fight for their dreams, that everything comes.”
