Mayor Federico Basile was present, the national day of sport “From games to games” was illustrated today at Palazzo Zanca, scheduled for Sunday 4, in Piazza Unione Europea. The peculiarity of the event will allow twenty-one sports to be brought together in a single environment, that is, in Piazza Unione Europea. It will therefore be an educational opportunity as those who play will also be able to follow the practice of other sports and become passionate. It is a pleasure to host these events which offer moments of aggregation and union in the sign of joy, light-heartedness and healthy competition. “The objective of the event – ​​added Francesco Giorgio – is the promotion of sports disciplines and their practice. There will be Olympic sport in Piazza Unione Europea on Sunday”.

Sports activities will take place from 9.30 to 13, including athletics, baseball and softball, rowing, fitness, cycling gymkhana, artistic gymnastics, sports, hockey, indoboarding, judo, karate, kickboxing, muay thai, basketball, handball, volleyball , airsoft, tennis, table tennis, sailing and rugby. The Urban Mobility Service, to allow the event to take place, has arranged for Sunday 4 June, from 7 to 14, parking bans, with forced removal area, both sides, and vehicular transit in via Argentieri (section of street in front of Palazzo Zanca), between Via Consolato del Mare and Via San Camillo.
