Casper Ruud launched the French Open with a clear three-set success on Court Suzanne-Lenglen. In the first round, the Norwegian, who failed last year in Roland Garros in the final against Rafael Nadal, did not have to call up his best tennis. Although he had a negative shots-to-misses ratio (28:34), his Swedish opponent Elias Ymer was unable to put him under serious pressure.
