Things are not going so well for West Ham at the moment. After five games unbeaten, head coach David Moyes’ side suffered a 2-1 defeat by Liverpool FC a week ago. Last weekend, the Hammers narrowly lost 4-3 to Crystal Palace and are 15th in the table with 34 points. This puts them just four points clear of a direct relegation zone currently occupied by Nottingham Forest.

Man City has been unbeaten in 18 games in all leagues and most recently lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League in early February. Most recently, the Sky Blues won the important game against Arsenal 4-1 and thus secured first place in the English league. Last Sunday, head coach Pep Guardiola’s team beat Fulham FC 2-1. With Arsenal already winning last Tuesday, Man City are second on 76 points and could take the top spot again if they win.
