Fluminense agrees to renew Edinho — Fluminense Football Club

This Thursday (18/05), Fluminense agreed to renew the contract of midfielder Edinho. Moleque de Xerém, 18 years old, signed his new contract with Tricolor at CT Carlos Castilho, which now runs until December 2024 – the previous one ended at the end of 2023.

“I am very happy with this renewal. Fluminense is the club that welcomed me, that opened its doors for me. I hope to achieve great things here. This year we are going in search of titles, Libertadores, Copa do Brasil and the Brazilian. I really want to help the team and bring joy to the tricolor fans, who deserve it a lot”, said the player.

Edinho arrived in Xerém in October 2020, after excelling in the youth teams of Tubarão-SC. The athlete was part of winning the Carioca U-20 Championship title in 2021. Last year, the midfielder joined the U-23 squad and, in 2023, he was integrated into the main team.
