Fajar Fathur Rahman is Grateful for Being able to Maintain Worship During the Defense of the U-22 Indonesian National Team at the 2023 SEA Games Cambodia

tvOnenews.com – Indonesian U-22 National Team player Fajar Fathur Rahman feels grateful to be able to keep playing optimally during the 2023 Cambodia SEA Games.

Not only that, Fajar was also able to continue praying smoothly amidst the busy schedule of the Indonesian national team because the team’s accommodation was close to the mosque.

The U-22 Indonesian national team under the tutelage of Indra Sjafri while in Cambodia stayed at the Phnom Penh Hotel. The national team’s accommodation is only about 100 meters from the hotel, where there is a fairly large mosque, the Al-Serkal Mosque.

“I am grateful that our hotel is near a mosque. So I try to pray five times a day here, except when there is a program from the coach, I just pray in my room,” said Fajar.

Players born in Manokwari, West Papua, held Friday prayers with a number of Indonesian U-22 national team players such as Bagas Kaffa, Pratama Arhan, Ernando Ari and Muhammad Adisatryo to the ranks of coaches led by Indra Sjafri.

The feeling of gratitude for staying at a hotel near the mosque was also conveyed by the National Team Coach Indra Sjafri. For the trainer from West Sumatra, this is not the first time he has performed worship at one of the largest mosques in Cambodia.
