Electronic Arts and EA SPORTS today announced EA SPORTS Super Mega Baseball 4 and continue to bring fans closer to the sport they love through new interactive experiences. For the first time in the series, with the iconic hilarious style and immersive gameplay, Super Mega Baseball fans can join more than 200 larger than life legendary baseball pros like David “Big Papi” Ortiz, Jose Bautista, Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron and more along with the popular Super Mega League All-Stars. Hall of Famer David Ortiz is also the series’ first cover athlete for Super Mega Baseball 4, out worldwide on June 2nd for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam appears and is playable across generations and platforms.

EA SPORTS is shaping the future of interactive sports experiences, and Super Mega Baseball 4 is the second baseball experience released by EA SPORTS in 2023 and EA SPORTS’ first baseball experience on HD platforms in more than a decade. With a major presentation upgrade and new levels of game depth, including a variety of top community-requested features and six brand new stadiums, every corner of Super Mega Baseball 4 will look and feel better.

The game includes a number of new features in core modes such as Exhibition, Franchise, Pennant Races, Season and Online Leagues, including:

• Baseball Legends: More than 200 baseball legends can be found in Super Mega Baseball 4, as well as popular Super Mega Baseball characters. Play in a League of Legends Baseball with teams organized by era, or mix it all up with the Shuffle Draft, a new feature that lets you draft both Legends and Super Mega All-Stars to create a unique roster.
• New Platforms and Cross-Play: Expanding for the first time on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Super Mega Baseball 4 will deliver essential pennant racing and online league cross-play across the new platforms, as well as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
• Most common requests from the community: Countless fan-requested upgrades combine to add even more depth to the gameplay. From the all-new Shuffle Draft, a deck-building inspired feature, to expanded player traits and a new team chemistry system that allows for even more strategy, to automatic paths and runners, two-way players, expanded bullpens, customizable free- agent pools and more.
• Chart: Fans will experience authentic, cinematic baseball made possible by new cameras, cutscenes and lighting, providing a true-to-life environment in each stadium.
• Audio: New audience voice-overs, dialogue and Foley audio give audio throughout the game a major upgrade from home plate to the stands. Also, players will immerse themselves in the sound of baseball with a brand new soundtrack featuring licensed and original music.

Those who pre-order Super Mega Baseball 4 Ballpark Edition will get three days early access and three additional stadiums, including Peril Point at launch, and Ciudad de Colores and Castillo Arena in July and August, respectively. Early Access is not available on Nintendo Switch. The pre-order offer for PS4 and PS5 platforms is only valid in the US and Canada. Pre-order offer ends June 2, 2023. Offer must be redeemed by May 30, 2023 to receive the full three days of early access.

EA Play members on Xbox, PlayStation and Steam will unlock a 10-hour trial of Super Mega Baseball 4 starting May 30th.
