Düsseldorfer EG – Wirth is coming – Sport

The Düsseldorfer EG has secured the services of national ice hockey player Moritz Wirth for the next two years. The 23-year-old Fischtown Pinguins defender has signed a contract with DEG until 2025. “Moritz already proved last season in Bremerhaven how much responsibility and ice age he can take on despite his young age and fits perfectly into our team with his ambition and will,” said DEG sports director Niki Mondt, explaining the change. Wirth was nominated for the senior national team for the first time this spring and was involved in two phases of preparation for the World Cup.
