“I have never finished high in such a game. In the spring I finished around 58,000th place”, Dirk De Wolf tempers expectations.
In his Giro team “De Wolven” he spends a lot of money on the classification men: Evenepoel, Roglic, Geoghegan Hart, Almeida and Carthy.

Ben Healy (€6m) earned a spot in Wolfken’s squad “because he doesn’t cost much.” Van Jay Vine (€7m) De Wolf expects something beautiful in the mountain stages.
The team is filled with “servants and riders who will participate in breakaways a few times.”
“An Alessandro De Marchi (€4m), for example, does not have a real leader within his team Jayco-AlUla. Ideal for De Marchi to drive ahead himself a few times. The same goes for Joe Dombrowski (€3m).”
A nice puzzle. “But I have not yet been able to view the rules of the game. That is something for when I come back from Tenerife,” promises De Wolf.
