Christian Adinata won the gold medal SEA Games 2023 after defeating Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo at Morodok Techo National Stadium Badminton Hall, Tuesday (16/5).

Christian won 21-12, 18-21, 21-18 over Chico. After making a mistake, Christian evened the score to 1-1 via a straight smash.

Chico carried out intensive attacks that made him 3-2 up. However, Christian’s neat cross placing brought the position back to a 3-3 draw.

The duel in the first game was fierce after Christian and Chico overtook each other in getting points. Christian could lead 8-7, but Chico turned the score around to lead 9-8.

The push from Chico, which was too long to the back, made Christian win two points in a row. Christian led 11-9 in the first game interval.

After the interval Christian continued his domination over Chico by getting three consecutive points to move away with a score of 14-9.
