Crashed into pole – footballer was resuscitated – football

Aalen striker Steffen Kienle caused anxious moments in the 67th minute. When the score was 0-0, the 28-year-old crashed into the goal post and lay unconscious. Paramedics and teammates quickly rushed over to take care of Kienle. The “kicker” even reported that Kienle had to be revived.

The 28-year-old was treated for minutes before being taken to the hospital. His club Aalen has now given the all-clear that the striker is “stable and approachable”.

The fourth division game was then stopped when the score was 0-0. Hoffenheim II are second in the Regionalliga Südwest after 31 games and are fighting for promotion while Aalen is 14th.
