Cori – Beaten with baseball bats, 2 men arrested for attempted murder

Cori – Today the agents of the Cisterna di Latina Commissariat carried out the precautionary orders against two citizens of Cori issued by the GIP Office of the Latina Public Prosecutor’s Office. Following the investigations conducted by the investigators of the Commissariat, the two were identified as alleged perpetrators of attempted murder against two other subjects, also from Cori, which took place on the afternoon of 17 April last. In the circumstance, the two attackers had presented themselves at the victims’ homes armed with baseball bats with which they had violently beaten them, so much so that one of the two offended parties had sustained serious wounds to the head, with copious leakage of blood, and for this reason transported in red code via 118 at the Emergency Department of the Santa Maria Goretti Hospital in Latina, where he was subsequently hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit. The other offended party, on the other hand, was hospitalized at the Velletri hospital. At the end of the investigative activity, the Latina Public Prosecutor’s Office requested the competent GIP Office to issue the Measures now being carried out, in relation to the crime of attempted murder.
