college students qualified for the French championships

Two disciplines, badminton and futsal, and in the end, a qualification for the French championships in the cities of Guéret (Creuse) from June 7 to 9 and Dreux (Indre-et-Loire) from June 6 to 9. The René-Nicklès middle school students qualified brilliantly under the guidance of their Physical Education and Sports teachers. Fabiola, Héléna, Léa, Lohane, Maellane, Maëlle, Mahawa, Nejma, Talia, are departmental futsal champions, champions of the Nancy Metz academy and the Grand Est interacademy. The players, Armand, Benjamin, Clarisse, Chloé, Misha, Simon, Valentine, are interacademy champions.

Nearly €6,000

Very convincing results for their teachers, Philippe Collot and John Menette, who spare no effort to bring UNSS sport to life within their establishment. They no longer count the years of investment and organization to satisfy young athletes and put them in a very good mood.

Still, participating in a French championship requires some financial resources. “Between clothing, transport and accommodation, the René-Nicklès sports association will have to spend nearly €6,000 to go to these two competitions. Without the support of the college, its socio-educational center, the municipalities of Dommartemont and Saint-Max as well as the Departmental Council and the Metropolis, it would not have been possible. So a big thank you! explains Philippe Collot.

We bet that this financial windfall will boost Dommartemont college students who are always quick to defend themselves tooth and nail.
