NBA – Chris Paul is out with an injury in the Suns’ Game 2 loss to the Nuggets.
The years follow each other and look alike for the unfortunate Chris Paul… Once again, the All-Star point guard left his teammates in the middle of a game. This time, it’s the left adductor that lets go on a rebound battle. We were in the middle of the 3rd quarter and the Suns were leading 59-51 at the time of his injury. They will lose 97-87… and register only 28 points after his exit.
“He absolutely could not lean on his leg” simply said Monty Williams after the match, while Chris Paul had already left the room.
At almost 38 years old, the leader of the Suns multiplies the glitches in the playoffs, and we remember in 2015, still in the semi-finals of the conference, of his tear in the thigh in the series against the Spurs. The following year, he broke his hand in the first round. The worst is in 2018 when he misses the last two games of the conference final against the Warriors. The Rockets led 3-2, and they were one win away from bringing down the NBA champions…
