Bundesliga: “Student, amateurish” – Hamann criticizes Bayern coach Tuchel and Goretzka

“Student”: Strong criticism of Tuchel

Violent dopa criticism: “How the Sané runs around there!”

In the championship fight, FC Bayern once again inexplicably stumbled and lost the lead in the table one game before the end of the season. Didi Hamann therefore launches a ruthless all-round attack.

FC Bayern’s recent crash landing is also food for Didi Hamann. After the possibly title-deciding 1: 3 defeat of the German record champions against RB Leipzig, the ex-professional sharply criticized Thomas Tuchel.

“If I have a new coach who loses more often in eleven games than his predecessor (Julian Nagelsmann; Anm. d. Red.) in 37 games, I can’t say that the team is solely to blame. Of course, the coach has his part in it. We don’t know how much,” Hamann said on the talk show Sky 90.

The coaching effect was already “blown” with the signature of Tuchel, because afterwards nothing improved at Bayern. The Munich team is playing “even worse than before,” added the 49-year-old.

Bayern’s defensive behavior “pupil-like and “amateur”

As an example of Tuchel’s complicity in the defeat against Leipzig, Hamann tied the interim equalizer to make it 1-1, in which the division of a corner kick was not correct.

“Your six (Joshua Kimmich; Anm. d. Red.) shoots the corner and Leon Goretzka is in the box. I can’t remember the last time he scored a headed goal. One of the two has to stand in the penalty area and head the ball away or play the foul. And behind that is Joao Cancelo, who didn’t invent defending either,” he said Sky-Expert.

Hamann described the behavior as “student-like and “amateurish”. You have to “blame the coach for that. That was a mistake. That caused a goal and probably cost Bayern the game,” he emphasized.

This is Hamann’s “disappointment of the season”

In addition to Tuchel, Leon Goretzka does not do well at Hamann.

“I would have thought he was a pillar, a pillar. But he’s completely gone. And you can say that about many others,” explained Hamann, for whom the German national player is even “the disappointment of the season”.

In principle, the Munich squad is “excellently staffed”, but there are too few workers in the team. The 49-year-old lacks “players who are willing to sacrifice themselves for the team. You need three or four players on the team that make others better. And they don’t have that at the moment.”

Hamann believes that the background noise in the management floor is often used as an explanation for the poor performance of the professionals. The players have a contract with FC Bayern, not with Oliver Kahn or Hasan Salihamidzic.”
