Bundesliga: Serious allegations from Bayern fans

Serious allegations from Bayern fans

“Finally!” – So Tuchel was happy about the Sané goal

FC Bayern fans have raised allegations against the police after their team’s victory in Bremen. Unpleasant incidents already occur in the stadium.

During the away trip of the fans from FC Bayern after Bremen there have apparently been several unpleasant incidents.

First, the supporters of Munich burned during the 2:1-Siegs repeatedly fired off pyrotechnics and thus ensured that a fan block was partially cleared. After the game, the buses of the foreign spectators were probably held by the police until late at night.

“It was an absolutely disproportionate action. Unfortunately, fans of active fan scenes know such missions, but that was absolutely excessive even by their standards,” said Alexander Salzweger, spokesman for Club No. 12 Spox and Goal about the actions of the officials.

When asked, the police informed the fans that “you have to prevent fans from leaving,” Salzweger continued: “The last buses left around 3 a.m..”

The Bayern supporters were only allowed to go to the toilet under supervision. And: They were treated like “second-class citizens”.

Bayern buses searched with explosive dogs

The Green and White Aid, which supports Bremen fans with problems with the police, classified the police action as “clearly illegal”.

The police have not yet commented on these allegations. In a press release on Sunday it is said that they reacted to the forbidden burning of pyrotechnics during the game.

“Because of these crimes, emergency services stopped six buses of departing guest fans in a parking lot on Autobahn 27 after the game,” the police statement said: “During the subsequent inspection of five relevant buses and passengers, explosive dogs were also used.”

A total of 380 people were checked and personal details were found. “Further investigations continue.”

When the guests left Munich, there were “no significant incidents”.

Fan block must be cleared

The notice also explained why part of the fan block had to be cleared during the game. Various Bayern fans had “burned off massively prohibited pyrotechnics in the upper tier of the Weser Stadium. Due to the considerable danger to bystanders, the grandstand below had to be cleared and the spectators brought to safety.”

The spectators gradually returned when the situation seemed to calm down. When the fire was lit again, however, they had to give way again. “This turned out to be very difficult for the police and security service, since the majority of the spectators concerned no longer wanted to leave their seats,” the police said.
