Bronny James makes college decision and starts for USC Trojans next season

The 18-year-old has played for Sierra Canyon for the past four years and is considered one of the top five point guards in his class. LeBron’s son most recently competed in the prestigious McDonald’s All American Game and was also invited to the Hoop Summit in Portland. He now announced via Instagram that he had decided on the USC Trojans.

“I’m so damn proud of you boy,” LeBron commented on his son’s decision in a separate post. In addition to USC, Oregon and Ohio State were also in the draw, and the G-League and the NBL’s Australian youth program also competed for the guard’s services.

Ultimately, James chose the Trojans, who recently brought out Evan Mobley (Cavaliers). “I spoke to the coaches and it was good to find out that they really want me there,” said the 18-year-old on the sidelines of the Hoop Summit, without revealing which university he was talking about.
