This Saturday the Provincial Benjamin and Junior Championship of the Sports Schools as far as badminton is concerned was held in El Campello. El Campello participated with 7 youngest players from their schools, who are also part of the Babminton Club, who obtained very good results, taking the top positions in both individual and doubles rankings.
In addition, an under-19 master’s was contested in Enguera with the participation of campelleros Mateo Fernández, Miguel Payà and Alba Sevila.
Although the current category of Mateo and Miguel is sub17, they were semifinalists in the two modalities that participated. The best result was achieved by Alba Sevila, who together with her partner Ivayla Valentinova (club from Enguera) was runner-up in women’s doubles.
