He saved his job after all!
As BILD learned, Josh King (37) will remain coach of the MHP giants Ludwigsburg in the coming season.
His best argument: In the main round of the easycredit-BBL he ended up fifth with the Swabians, avoiding the big chunks (Bayern, Berlin, Bonn) in the quarter-finals. It’s now about the semi-finals against Oldenburg (from May 16) – difficult, but more doable than the big three!

King slipped into a phase of weakness in the league at the end of the season (only four wins from the last twelve games) and was also eliminated from the Champions League. President Alexander Reil (55) therefore publicly questioned King (BILD reported).
Most recently, however, both fans and sponsors spoke out in favor of the American staying. Reil now also wants to go down this path.
