Captain Yorman Polas Bartolo, three times the best defender in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), has extended his contract with the MHP giants in Ludwigsburg. The play-off quarter-finalist did not announce when the native Cuban signed with a German passport.
Polas Bartolo (37) came from the Fraport Skyliners in Frankfurt in 2020. In 2018, 2019 and 2021, the forward was named Best BBL Defensive Player. Ludwigsburg, fifth in the main round, plays in the quarter-finals against EWE Baskets Oldenburg (4th).
