The Serie A playoffs of the Italian badminton team championship are at the starting blocks. Tomorrow at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Maracalagonis at 3 pm, Matex Marabadminton will face RA System BC Milano at home in the semifinal, in a replica clash of the one in the 2021 championship, for access to Sunday’s championship challenge.
In the men’s field, the Sardinian team can count on Christopher Vittoriani, Matteo Massetti and Rosario Maddaloni who also holds the role of technical director of the team.
In the women’s field the maresa team is strong on Wen You Zhang, number 45 in the world ranking, Malena Normann, Lia Salehar and Gianna Stiglich. In the other semifinal South Tyrolean duel between reigning champions Bolzano and Malles.
The finals for the Scudetto and for third place are always held in the Maracalagonis arena on Sunday 14 at 10.
