Badminton. Marie Césari new French princess of badminton Juniors

Throughout the competition, Marie Césari dazzled the public with her exceptional performances. In the women’s singles final, she showed remarkable mastery, triumphing over her opponent better ranked than her in the world ranking, Floriane Nurit, in three contested sets (21-19, 13-21, 22-20).

This victory allows him to win his second national title among young people, after that obtained in the youngest category, and marks an important transition before his move to the Senior category. The sportswoman thus demonstrates all her talent and promising potential.

Unfortunately, in Ladies’ doubles, Marie Césari and her partner Lilou Schaffner lost in the final, in very close sets (19-21, 19-21), probably emotionally dulled by the singles final. Nevertheless, their performance remains impressive.

Another special mention goes to Arthur Tatranov, who, for his first year in the Cadet category, was aiming for two medals at the French Championships. He achieved his goal by winning two bronze medals in men’s singles and doubles.

Patrick Chatelain, president of Badminton Val de Morteau, was extremely proud of the exceptional career of the eight young athletes who brilliantly represented the club during this tournament. The remarkable record of four medals won testifies to the BVM’s excellence in training and developing talent among young people: “This success illustrates the hard work and commitment of Badminton Val de Morteau towards its athletes, and confirms its position privileged in the landscape of French badminton”.
