Athletics, Mattia Furlani confirms: “I chose the long jump”

During the event “Sky inclusion days with children ≠ parents“, organized by Sky in collaboration with the non-profit association Lidia Dice, Matthias Furlani gave confirmations about his next goals. As he had already declared to the microphones of OA Sport, the choice between high jump and long jump was made against the discipline with greater room for improvement, i.e. the long jump.

From this point of view, the talented Italian athlete gave further indications in this regardin the interview with Daniele Cassioli: “I was born a high jumper, it’s my favorite discipline, but I also learned to appreciate the long jump. Now the moment of choice has arrived and I have decided for the long jump, both for the results obtained so far and for the room for improvement“, the words of Furlani (source: ANSA).

The focus of his season will be i World Cup in Budapest (Hungary) of this summer, but since we are talking about such a young boy, considering the world championship a target is a bit exaggerated: “PLet’s go race after race and see how it goes.
