At the age of 52, Phil Mickelson is good for a few surprises: whether at the big tournaments or on the Saudi tour. His appearance at the Masters was amazing – also because of his looks.

PHil Mickelson has been considered one of the best and most dazzling golf professionals for three decades. The right-hander, who only plays golf with his left hand, has won 45 tournaments on the PGA Tour, including six majors. And even if he celebrates his 53rd birthday on June 16 of this year, there is no end in sight to his glittering career. Two years ago, at the age of 50 years, 11 months and 7 days, the American surprisingly won the PGA Championship and went down in golf history as the oldest major winner.

He had slipped down to 115th in the world rankings and had not achieved a top ten result on the PGA Tour in his last 16 tournament appearances before this major success. Even after the American had apparently turned back time for a moment, he only came up trumps three times in four starts on the PGA Tour Champions, the tournament series for professionals who have reached the age of fifty (over 50). Against the younger competition, it was only enough for two third places.
