Basketball star Ja Morant of the NBA club Memphis Grizzlies has clearly not learned from his mistakes and has once again appeared publicly with a gun. The franchise suspended the 23-year-old over an Instagram video, as they did two months ago.
In the first incident, Morant filmed himself in a nightclub brandishing a gun. The NBA suspended the professional for eight games, the point guard started therapy.
“I’m going to take some time off and try to learn methods of dealing with stress better,” Morant said at the time, and now the next misstep followed. In the new Instagram Live video, Morant is sitting in a car and holding a gun in his left hand. It is unclear when the recording came from.
“We are aware of the social media post involving Ja Morant and are in the process of gathering additional information,” NBA spokesman Mike Bass said in a statement. Memphis failed in the first playoff round at the end of April at the Los Angeles Lakers (2:4).
