After the covid years, the Teen Raid has regained its most beautiful colors. Prepared by the athletes of the town hall of Quimperlé with the support of around fifty people, in particular a dozen sports associations (climbing, archery, badminton, canoeing, orientation, handball, basketball, triathlon, mountain biking , circus arts, rugby and table tennis), the raid was a great family and friendly success.
It was from the childhood home in Kermec that the duos set off for their raid (here the “Flash McQueen” team, made up of Naïg and Alice). Olivier Brouxel gave the start to 47 teams from 6th-5th and 26 teams from 3rd-4th. The first part consisted of a short trail to La Mothe.Many of the Quimper sports associations played the game by supervising the various activities in the raid. This is Baptiste, from the Quimperlé archers’ association, with the “Wild Gueux” team, made up of Azilys and Jeanne.One of the most spectacular challenges was the climb of Montagne Sainte-Catherine. The climbing club, The Spiders of the West, had set up nets allowing teenagers to climb the cliff overlooking the Quai Brizeux where there was an obstacle course installed by the Cirkopathes.The final sprint to the finish line, set up at the Saint-Nicolas meadow, consisted of a sack race slalom, here with the “AD” team, made up of Adenora and Adam. On the arrival site, multiple games and activities were offered for the whole family.
