The Departmental trophy young players from badminton from Seine-Maritime and neighboring departments took place on May 21, 2023 in the Aulnaie gymnasium in Gournay-en-Bray.

78 encounters

This Departmental Youth Trophy gave the opportunity to chain 78 individual and mixed matches in the Poussin, Cadet and Junior categories. The longest set lasted 54 minutes.

Podiums

Among the cadets and juniors, individually, medal winners were Hugo Breton and Lefebvre Eloïse from BUSForges as well as Alexandre Leuillier from ASGournay.

It must be said that even with the health crisis, an intact motivation infuses the ranks of ASG Badminton.

In mixed, siblings Eloïse and Mathieu Lefebvre de Forges climbed to the top step of the podium.

Among the chicks Charles-Moïse El Tabach of the Compiègne club obtained 1st place.

An eco-responsible tournament

A tournament that the president of the badminton club of Gournay Thierry Poilly qualifies as eco-responsible since the match sheets and the results only appeared digitally.

Bad-en-Bray, June 25 and 25

It will be the same on June 24th and 25th for our 7th regional Bad-en-Bray, still in this same gym.

For the club, after the Departmental Youth Trophy this will be an opportunity to go back to the net by organizing for the 7th time this competition structured at the national level for badistes classified (or not) Regional 4.
