The ‘2023 Daegu Metropolitan City Senior Living Sports Festival’, the largest festival for seniors in the Daegu area, will be held at 7 locations including the riverside park golf course, starting with park golf on the 15th and ending on the 17th.
About 1,500 seniors from 264 teams in 10 events will participate in this event.
The target audience is local sports clubs aged 60 and older.
The competition will be held in a way that the representative athletes of each event compete against each other.
The competition events are park golf, gateball, national sport, badminton, bowling, soft tennis, table tennis, gymnastics, soccer, and tennis.
On the other hand, the oldest players by gender at the ‘2023 Daegu Metropolitan City Elderly Life Sports Competition’ are Lee Byeong-gi (93), who participates in soft tennis, and Hong Jeong-gi (90), who participates in gateball, respectively.
