1st round of Roland Garros: BNP Paribas mobilizes tennis fans and players around a solidarity match

In 2023, BNP Paribas is celebrating 50 years of loyalty and commitment to tennis and is organizing the “Match Solidaire”, in association with the French Tennis Federation. A festive and charitable meeting around a match of the 1st round, Sunday May 28 from 7 p.m. on the Philippe Chatrier court. Nearly 10,000 young people will be invited to the match, and a solidarity kitty will be set up for the benefit of the Attrap’la Balle association, run by Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, which works to promote the inclusion of young people through sport.

During the match played on the Philippe Chatrier court next Sunday, May 28 at 7 p.m., each point played will increase a large solidarity prize pool by 100 euros in favor of Attrap’la Balle. Dear to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, this association promotes the inclusion of youth through tennis. Around the Philippe Chatrier court, nearly 10,000 young people – from BNP Paribas partner associations, licensees, students, young entrepreneurs, etc. – invited by BNP Paribas will take their places in the stands for this Solidarity Match. To allow young fans to attend this unprecedented meeting and also play a part in it, part of the ticket office has been offered to them at the symbolic price of 10 euros. All of the profits from this ticket office will help to increase the kitty in favor of the Attrap’la Balle association.

This match will be more than a first round between two players who go against each other. Many activities will be planned before and during the match, in the presence of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and the supercharged We Are Tennis Fan Academy and its fanfare which will make this match a great tennis celebration.
