Women’s French Cup final: PSG ultras call to “invade” Orléans

The message is clear: “All in Orléans”. For the final of the Coupe de France against Lyon, on Saturday May 13 (4 p.m.) at the Stade de la Source in Orléans, the Parisian ultras launched a sacred call for mobilization this Friday. On their Twitter account, the members of the CUP (Collectif ultras Paris) posted a message to call “all the Parisian people to invade the city of Orléans in order to carry our players to victory”. As the sale of 7,000 seats has begun, the CUP hopes for a “100% Parisian” stadium.

On May 13, Gérard Prêcheur’s players will meet their eternal rivals OL for the sixth time in history in the Coupe de France final. So far, PSG have only won the final against Lyonnaises once in 2018 (1-0) and lost four times in 2008 (0-3), 2014 (0-2), 2017 (1-1, 6-7 on penalties), and 2020 (0-0, 3-4 on penalties).

This final will be an opportunity for the Parisiennes to try to keep a trophy easily won last season against Yzeure (8-0. This time, however, the opponent is of a different caliber. The Lyonnaises currently have a one-point lead in the league on the Parisiennes. But the meeting of May 21 between the two teams promises to be another highlight of the end of the season.
