Gordon Strachan spoke about Antony and made a comparison with the Portuguese star.

Gordon Strachan, a former Scottish international who wore Manchester United’s jersey in the 1980s, spoke to the DAZN platform about Antony and made a comparison with Cristiano Ronaldo, a Portuguese man who shone for the Old Trafford emblem.

“Antony has qualities. He reminds me a bit of Ronaldo, although it’s never good to make comparisons. He seems to feel like he is, but I don’t think he’s as good as he is by far,” Strachan said.

“When Ronaldo arrived, there were people in the team who told him the truth, like: ‘Sorry, we don’t want to see you dancing when you can cross earlier. Use your technique to get into good areas and produce something. We’re not here to see you,'” he said.

“You never see top players trying to ridicule their opponents. They do it for the team, with humility”, he concluded.
