Russian bombs on Kherson region, two dead

Two people died and six others were injured in the Kherson region in southern Ukraine due to yesterday’s Russian shelling, Ukrinform reports, citing data provided by the regional administration. One of the victims, an 80-year-old man, was reported in the city of the same name, which was bombed three times. Overall, Russian forces carried out 83 bombing raids in the region, firing 412 shells from heavy artillery, drones and aviation. In particular, the artillery fire also hit the village of Kizomys in the Belozersk community: a school, a law enforcement vehicle and about 25 residential buildings were targeted. An 85-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman were injured. A cemetery in the village of Havrylivka of the Novoaleksandrivska community in the Beryslav district was also shelled with artillery.
