Volleyball, two teams from Valle towards the final of the women’s First Division championship

Here we are: the Scudetto final starts to decree the best First Division formation and to establish who will abandon the provincial championships to move on to Serie D for the regional ones.

We start with the semi-finals, which include two-way matches and a possible match. We start this week to get to the final of the First Division championship on 12 May.

A concentrate of pure adrenaline. And in this whirlwind of emotions, the Susa Valley raises its voice, leading two teams to compete for promotion to Serie D. We are obviously talking about the Isil Volley Almese Azzurra of coach Gigi Martoglio and the Valsusa Condove of coach Daniele Giovale: two teams that dominated provincial rounds 1 and 3 of the First Division respectively, winning all three matches from the first part of the post season.

And now they are ready to raise the bar again. From our point of view, no fratricidal clash, as the pairings didn’t put the two Valsusine teams face to face in the semifinal. So let’s start: Valsusa Condove opens the series by playing away tonight, Thursday 27 April, in Grugliasco on the Porporati field.

Isil Almese will also make an away debut tomorrow evening, Friday 28 April, in Turin on the Safa 2000 field. The home return will be opened by Isil Almese on Thursday 4 May, while Valsusa Condove will host the Porporati in Sant’Antonino on Friday May 5th.

The eventual good would be for Almese at home while for Valsusa away. And then, as mentioned, the championship final on 12 May. From our sports editorial staff, good luck to the girls of Martoglio and Giovale to get to the final.
