According to the Gyeongbuk Fire Headquarters on the 28th, a 1-ton truck and a van collided on National Road 31 in Pacheon-myeon, Cheongsong-gun around 8:14 pm the previous day.

A 1-ton truck driver in his 70s died in the accident, and seven people, including a coach and six players from an elementary school in Gwangju who participated in a national badminton competition held in the region, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The badminton players in the van are suffering from abdominal pain, shortness of breath, and decreased consciousness.
