The Toronto Raptors from the North American basketball professional league NBA have separated from their master coach Nick Nurse (55). The club announced this on Friday. The Canadians missed the playoffs this season.
Nurse took over Toronto ahead of the 2018-19 season and led his team to the club’s first and only NBA title in its inaugural year.
“This is an opportunity to realign ourselves, to align the staff and players that will help us achieve our goal of winning the next championship,” said Raptors President Masai Ujiri.
