Three teams from Basket Pegaso Tarquinia at the Adriatica Cup

The Pesaro tournament is the most important youth basketball event in Italy

Three teams, under 15, under 13 and beginners, for 45 players. A technical group of six coaches and a medical staff consisting of a doctor and three nurses. These are the numbers of Basket Pegaso Tarquinia which will participate in Pesaro in the Adriatica Cup, scheduled from 29 April to 1 May.

“On April 28 we will be in Arezzo, the first stage of this wonderful sporting experience that also combines cultural aspects with a visit to the city – let Basket Pegaso Tarquinia know -. On April 29 we will go to Pesaro for the start of the preliminary rounds. The finals of the various categories will be held on Sunday and Monday at the sports hall, “l’Astronave”, which can hold over 10,000 people”. The Adriatica Cup is the most important youth basketball event in Italy, which in this edition involves over 300 teams, from mini basketball to under 19s.

“We will be present with three teams – continue from the Tarquinian team -. This involved a technical and economic effort that would not have been possible without the sponsors Hotel Civico Zero Resort, Le Grotte di Gregna Costruzioni and the Picenum Plast company. The boys will be accompanied by their parents, for a “caravan” of over 80 people”.

The under 15 players called up are Pavanati, Liberati, Cardoni, Agate, Cardinale, Pascucci, Moretti, Feliziani, Colonnelli, Cccetto, Allegrini and Faiola coached by the duo Fabio Conti and Gianluigi Faiola. The under 13 team will see Nuzzi, Amantini, Clementucci, Pedace F., Brughitta, Panarese, Fava, Pedace G., Chimuris, Uwaekwe, Sylaj and Timperi take to the parquet, led by Laura Gamberini Laura and Paola Piersanti. The rookies, with coach Anselmo Ranucci and Marco Federici, will have Panfilo, Jacobini, Cardinale, Maltese, Caprini, Goddi, Carmignani, Gatti, Melchiorre, Capitani, Pedace, Cavezzan and Simonelli on the roster.

“The Adriatic Cup evokes very beautiful memories for our club – they conclude from Basket Pegaso Tarquinia -, such as the victories of the 2003 and 2004 groups which for two editions brought our city to the highest podium, in the eagle and under 13 categories” .
