The two Celta athletics teams began by overwhelmingly winning the two club league matches in the First Division. The women’s did it at the Vigo venue with 197 points and the men’s won in Gijn with 190. Both have four points ahead of the second day.
The Celta Women signed six wins (Ainhoa Reparaz twice, Alice Finot, Ester Navarrete, Lola Bouza, Raquel Villa and the 4×100 relay), to overcome Gimnstica, Oviedo and Valladolid.
The men signed three victories (Miguel González, Pedro Santos and the 4×100 relay) and did not give an option to the University of Oviedo, Super Amara and Durango.
