For years, Kacper Gomólski was considered one of the greatest talents in Polish speedway. Unfortunately, over time, his career did not develop as it had and the already experienced player ended up in the 2nd league. The now 30-year-old competitor has returned home and joined his home team Start Gnieznobut at the same time closely observes what is happening in PGE extraliga.
Madsen compared to a clown
It was no different on Friday evening, when Włókniarz Czestochowa competed on its own track with Stal Gorzów. For the vast majority of the meeting, the hosts controlled the meeting, also thanks to Leon Madsen. The Dane, for the second time this season, after winning the races, “shot off” his rivals with his fingers, which aroused considerable indignation among the fans.
Quite unexpectedly, at the very end of the meeting, the Stal Gorzów team managed to wake up, making up for ten points in the last three races and leading to a draw. In the last race of the day, the couple Leon Madsen – Mikkel Michelsen lost twice to Anders Thomsen and Martin Vaculik, and Kacper Gomólski decided to punch the leader of Włókniarz Częstochowa.
On the Instagram of the Start Gniezno competitor, there was a report with a slightly modified graphic of the result of the fifteenth run of the match W³ókniarz – Stal. In place of Leon Madsen’s face, Gomólski decided to paste a clown emoticon, which the fans noticed very quickly.
Potential punishment
At the moment, it is not known whether Gomólski will face any punishment. It is possible that on Monday the disciplinary commission of the Polish speedway will take care of the case, but at the same time the fans cannot be sure, especially that the already experienced rider has not started the season yet.
The first meeting in 2023 awaits the Start Gniezno team tomorrow. The team from Wielkopolska will fight in Latvia during an away match with Lokomotiv Daugavpils. The first-league inheritance will certainly be the favorite of the duel.
