In Campania, in Taurasi, on the Calore river, the selections for the Central-Southern Italy Team stream trout took place. A weekend that started with uncertain weather conditions, but then improved by the hour. The Saturday competition carried out with “Fario trout” gave a yield of 50%, while on Sunday a good 75% was reached.
Excellent performances by the athletes from the Marches who confirmed all 3 teams participating in the selection for the Italian finals which will take place in Trentino (Val di Sole).
The absolute individual classification was won by Leonardo Lucchi, second to Gabriele Marozzi of the Settempeda Society (Italica) and an excellent fifth place overall for Giovanni Fecchi of the Burano Sports Cannisti.
The team classification rewards Società Settempeda (Italica), first classified.
The Marche del Trota Torrente once again certify the excellence of its athletes in this federal discipline.
