Manchester “City” football team has taken a big step closer to the semi-finals of the Champions League, beating “Bayern” Munich 3-0 in a grand duel at home.

Even though the victory was very convincing, after the match the Manchester coach Pep Guardiola did not hide that it required a lot of emotions and nerves.

“Emotionally I am destroyed and now I feel ten years older. This was a demanding game, I didn’t feel comfortable during it,” Guardiola gushed. “The result is good, but if we don’t play well enough in the return match, the opponents can score three goals. To beat a team of the level of “Bayern”, two good matches are necessary,” the coach reminded that only half of the work has been done so far.

The spotlight was once again on City’s biggest star, Earling Holland, who scored one goal and provided an assist. This season, the Norwegian has already scored 45 goals in various tournaments, which is a new record for English Premier League players. Also, Rodri and Bernardu Silva stood out for the hosts. “The 3-0 result does not reflect the course of the game. We played bravely, selflessly and with quality, so we deserved more,” Thomas Tuchel, head coach of the Munich club, who has been in the position for less than three weeks, was disappointed.

Meanwhile, Milan “Inter” beat Lisbon “Benfica” 2:0 in another duel. Nicola Barella and Romelu Lukaku scored for the Italian club. This was the first victory in the last seven matches for the Milan club. “This was one of our best games this season because we dominated all over the pitch. We helped each other, it gave a result,” explained the success of “Inter” Armenian football player Henrik Mkhitaryan.
