The Last Contest becomes… the Last Engagement, for an evening of great sport on VareseNoi.it.
Basketball and hockey will meet this evening at 21, in a broadcast that will therefore give ample space not only as usual to Pallacanestro Varese (refreshing yesterday evening from the very important victory obtained in Treviso), but also to the strictly topical nature of the IHL finals which see the Mastiffs engaged.
The special guest to analyze the last act and the moment of Varese and Italian hockey will be Massimo Da Rin, former player and former coach of the Mastini who was the first to play to win (final four of the Italian Cup in Merano). Da Rin, currently in charge of Como, is not only a winner by definition (he pinned two tricolor cockades to his chest with Courmaosta and Milan) but he is also a precious guide for young people and for Italy in sledge hockey: in fact he coached the youth national teams several times in Italy, as well as having led Italy in para ice hockey to World Cups, Paralympic Games and European Championships.
With him in the studio, together with Fabio Gandini and the director of VareseNoi.it Andrea Confalonieri, also Matteo Gallo, a journalist for VareseSport.com who cuts across both the world of basketball and ice.
That’s not all: in connection then from the ice rink, where at 9 pm the Mastiffs will have their last training session before match 2 of the series (1-0 for the South Tyroleans after the yellow and black defeat on Saturday) tomorrow evening in Caldaro, we will find a face well-known of the yellow and black fans, with the latest on the team and the environment.
The Last Contest-Last Engagement will be broadcast live at 9 pm on the homepage of VareseNoi.it, on its Facebook page (and on that of Il Basket Siamo Noi) and on its Youtube channel.
