The Festi’Van promises to be festive until dawn

On Wednesday April 12, the fair committee gave an appointment to all the volunteers for the home stretch in the organization of the next Festi’Van which will take place on Sunday May 7. About sixty volunteers were present at the meeting but many more will be on the ground on D-Day.

The new edition of the Festi’Van will therefore take place on Sunday 7 May. The meeting aimed to report to all the volunteers of the organization in general of this festive day but also the distribution of the tasks in particular the distribution of the posters and other leaflets of communication.

If the site of the fair has seen some changes in its organizational plan on the site, the appointment will be held as every year, near schools and will be highlighted by a rich decoration.

Nearly 60 exhibitors are already registered with this year a majority in the field of crafts, local products, basket weavers. There are also agricultural, commercial and association exhibitors, but the horticultural world remains absent from the registrations. A fact that can be explained by the climatic announcements of drought.

In the agricultural area, there too, the restrictive health regulations do not encourage breeders to come and present their animals. If the Montbéliardes will be there, the volunteers are still hoping for a few registrations to present a mini-farm and other animals such as horses, sheep and others.

The fair committee once again focused on entertainment. If the usual carousel for the little ones was not available on this date, the volunteers have decided to propose an attraction for young people themselves and it will be a rather special horse race but also a course in pedal tractors. Throughout the day, acrobatics, juggling, clowning, raffle, herding dog race, archery, music with the Fa Sonneurs, egg race, raffle, horse-drawn carriage rides, demonstrations at certain stands, country meal , something to entertain everyone.

On the eve of a public holiday, this day will open at 10 a.m. and will continue until the early morning thanks to a free evening. It will offer, in addition to the possibility of a meal, a concert in the gymnasium with Step Father, fireworks with Ciel en Fête around 10:30 p.m. and an evening hosted by DJ Fred Event.
