CASTELFORTE – Collegiate judo meeting next Saturday, April 8, in Castelforte.
Some important clubs from Lazio and Campania will participate in the activity, coordinated by the Asd Judo Menchella Club, including Maestro Giovanni Maddaloni’s Star Judo Club, Judo Ischia, Judo Fondi, P. Elle Lazzaris, New Crazy fitness, the Young Talent Academy, PGSSales Vomero, the Olimpico Center Telese Terme, the Nippon Club Pomezia, the Carabinieri Sports Center with the participation, among others, of the athlete Michela Terranova. The participation of athletes medaled in the absolute, Italian Championships, Italian Cup and European Cup is also foreseen.
The Italian vice-champion of the cadet class, Sarah Mura, was present for the historic Castelfortese club, a title won at the last Italian cadet championship A2 recently held in Taranto. A result that will allow the home athlete to be at the start of the final of the Italian A1 cadet championship. With her Greta Veglia, already qualified for the Italian Junior Championship to be held in Naples.
The participation of the President of the Lazio Regional Committee, Sandro Rosati, of the Vice President of the Judo MB sector, Gennaro Maccari, and of the Regional Commissioner of Judo match officials, Gianluca Ricciotti is also expected.
Technical director of the meeting Giovanni Menchella, whose passionate commitment to promotion and organization in the sports field, profuse over the years has allowed the Castelforte area to become the crossroads between central and southern Italy of national Judo.
