The Basketball Federation organizes a 3×3 scoring tournament in the FIBA ​​ranking

The President of the Basketball Federation, Jorge Molinary, has presented the first ‘Ceuta Emociona’ 3×3 Tournament, together with the technical director of the FBC, Borja Molinary, and the coach Óscar Pedroche, in charge of organizing the event. Tourist Services of Ceuta, dependent on the Ministry of Development and Tourism, has collaborated in this great sporting event, as well as the Ceuta Sports Institute. It will be held on the weekend of May 20 and 21, in Nelson Mandela Square. This activity is scored in the FIBA ​​ranking.

The president and the organizers have underlined the importance of an event of this style for the city, and even more since it can be held in the heart of Ceuta. They hope that the people of Ceuta who love this sport come and enjoy it as much as they do.

The FBC has been betting very strongly on the 3×3 modality in Ceuta, because at the national level it is having a lot of repercussions and it is a great way to bring basketball closer to more people.

For this tournament, the FBC will have Michel Pérez Niz, Refereeing Instructor and promoter of FIBA ​​3×3 events, who will be in charge of the refereeing team. The instructor has participated in other FBC activities focused on referees and is an adviser to the federation.

A maximum of 12 teams per category, male and female, made up of a minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 4, may participate. The tournament will have a group phase and a final phase made up of three rounds (quarterfinals, semifinals and final ). And it will be governed by the official FIBA ​​3×3 game regulations.

Registration for the tournament includes sports insurance, officially licensed referees, sports uniform, supplies, health services, speaker and animation. Three registration options have been created, depending on whether a stay in Ceuta is included or not: 80 euros per person, with two nights’ accommodation and breakfast included; and another for 50 euros per person, one night, also with breakfast included. Both options also include the Malaga-Algeciras-Ceuta trip, round trip. And there is a third option, for 50 euros per team, focused on participants residing in Ceuta. In addition, on Saturday the 20th they will hold a welcome meal with all the participants in the tournament.

Registration can now be done through the website of fbceuta.esby filling out the form. Very important, those who want to participate must have a profile created on the FIBA ​​play3x3 website. Another essential requirement is having previously participated in a qualifying FIBA ​​3×3 tournament, whether at a local, national or international level.

Grupo Ecos, Inter/Servicios and the company specialized in 3×3 events Triple Shot also collaborate in this event. The FBC wants to thank all the sponsors for the trust and commitment they have made for the sport.
