The activities of the 56 Sports Initiation Schools began

The Sports Initiation Schools (EID) program depends on the Federated Sports Directorate of the Sports Secretariat and this year it began with its free schools in 18 provincial departments. The sports offer is varied for children from 6 to 12 years old, although in some sports this age limit is extended by a few years.

A total of 56 schools have already started their activities in athletics, adapted athletics, basketball, boxing, basketball, climbing, soccer, futsal, handball, field hockey, roller hockey, judo, karate, wrestling, archery and volleyball.

Some schools remain to be defined that will soon be able to join this list and increase the number of the 56 existing EIDs up to now. They are athletics in Capital, handball in Chimbas, athletics and volleyball in Pocito, field hockey in Rawson and Rivadavia, and sailing in Ullum.

Those interested in enrolling in any of the EIDs that we will mention below, should contact their Municipality, or the Sports Secretariat, at calle Miter 15 este, 5th floor.
